Daniel Benmergui I wish I were
wish I were the moon pits the player against an unusual love triangle
between a boy, a girl and the moon. It is inspired by “the distance to
the moon” by Italo Calvino and is about a bizarre love triangle The
player is a photographer that could be registered (or creating) the
story, the cursor takes the form of a white box that works like the eye
of the camera, that way just by clicking into an image the player can
capture it and replace it anywhere he wants, giving place to a new
story. For instance, he can capture de girl and place here with the boy
in the boat.
Depending on the different combinations there will be five possible endings.
Today I die tells
the story of a woman being trapped in the abyss of his own anguish. The
player has before it a very distressing scene, a young woman is
immersed in what appears to be the depths of an ocean, jellyfish
floating around under it two menacing piranhas. But what most catch
your attention is a short poem and two single words waiting to be
combined; "dead world full of shadows going to die today."
The player must interact with the main character and the words to go forward in history and be able to rescue the young

ambiental. Biogame. Biogames are a recent category among video games
born out of the combination of science, education and game. These games
arise from the need of finding new ways to reach a general audience,
they are meant to interest, appeal and compromise with issues that are
often relegated to the scientific field and most of the time we are
closer than we think
By the time the game is being shown at exhibitions and conferences, registration can be found on the web.

Judith This
video game raises the possibility of games not being defined by the
freedoms they give us, but the liberties they take away. Inspired
by the story "Bluebeard" by Charles Perrault, Judith begs the question
on several levels at once: how much freedom do I have really?

The intruder. LA. USA
“A
'tale told in ten games', The Intruder is an interactive narrative
based on a story by Jorge Luis Borges. The viewer must compete in some
rudimentary games to hear, read and watch the story. Thoroughly
well-observed, and compelling, The Intruder takes about 15 minutes to
navigate. The games are not difficult but act as an aid to the
narrative and introduce levels of addiction to the telling of the
story."

Games and simulations can also make us think about what is going on in this world.
“This is not a game. You can’t win and you can’t lose. This is a
simulation. It has no ending- It has already begun. The rules are
deadly simple. You can shoot. Or not. This is a simple model you can
use to explore some aspects of the war on terror”
